Product Details
Rigid stems reach up to 35 cms high or so on established clumps although it may reach up to 45 cms in congested situations. Typical trifoliate, semi-glossy apple-green leaves rising from underground rhizomes can be quite rhombic in shape. Flowers are a little strange on this species in that they do not have petals as such. Instead, the tepals (Sheath leaves around the flower) are the main attraction with a reddish-green colour being obvious, these are outward facing and very much held erect above the foliage. The tepals are pointed, narrow and last for several weeks. Often sold as T. smallii which is quite different!
