Another small species from Afghanistan and Tibet with basal leaves to around 12 cms wide or so in good conditions. These are deeply textured and have a reddish underside at times through the summer months.
Flowers are reddish coloured and tiny but produced in masses on short stems easily to 40 cms high. It's a very unusual looking plant even when just in leaf.
We don't have a picture for this uploaded yet, in the meantime you can click HERE for Google search result pictures for this plant (opens in a new window). The smaller plants are obviously the right ones!
