AGM.
An easy and reliable little gem flowering early in the year - end of February onwards to April. A clump forming perennial for a sunny spot in most garden soils but not too wet. Good for a trough, rock garden or scree. Deep green almost rush-like leaves up to 25 cms high emerge in late December when they defy all weathers and remain un-blemished. The flowers rise from the centre of this leaf sheath to reveal the satin textured semi-pendant lavender-purple or white flowers. Usually dormant by high summer. Seed Raised.
