Product Details
A really strange looking evergreen perennial form Sikkim - China . Foliage is reduced to a simple pair of scales which clasp the greenish-grey stems at intervals of around 2 cms. The stems resemble those of Horsetail (Equisetum) but it's more of a solid clump former reaching around 30 cms wide in 5 years. It stays quite compact, spreading underground by stolons and making a thicket of stems. Flowers are small yellowish and followed by the more attractive large red fruits.
