Evergreen carpet forming perennial from Chile and the Falkland Islands. Pale grey/green foliage makes very slow growing mounds just 1 or 2 cms high and 10 cms wide in maybe 3 years. Flowers are individually un-impressive. However when we bear in mind that each flower is held in a cluster and each plant produces numerous clusters, the whole plant is covered in creamy/yellow flowers in summer. Impressive when allowed to grow over rocks or down walls etc.
