Product Details
A relatively new species for us to offer here. Approaching the beauty of Arisaema sikokkianum but not quite as tall or white in the flower. Growth begins in mid May on this species. As with others, the spike emerges clothed in a sheath leaf, the leaves emerging immediately after the flower or at the same time. Leaves are digitate and deep matte green with light purplish occasionally with speckles over the upper surface. Flowers are deep brown or occasionally green a whit and the hood folds over the top of the flower. They tend to last a little longer than most Arisaemas. From 'Zazen' which is a form of Monk meditation - the flower is said to resemble a monk in meditation!
