Product Details
This has to be one of the most stunning species of the whole genus. Medium sized tubers produce stems up to 60 cms high or thereabouts. These stems carry both leaves and flowers, the leaves tending to unfurl as the flower is borne. Foliage is in the form of a radiating palm-like shape with numerous leaflets, the whole reaching around 25 cms wide or so. The flowers are obviously the main attraction although the foliage lasts for several months and the seed pods are highly attractive. Flowers are mainly red-brown with crisp white striping and held vertically, lasting for several weeks.
