Anemone nemorosa Blue Eyes
Product Details

A much admired woodland perennial for partial shade or shady moist soils. Foliage on this species is dissected into finger-like growths, only one leaf per petiole. The stem resides below the soil surface and is dark brown in colour. Multiplication is by division of these rhizomes. Flowers are daisy-like and around 3 cms wide or so. Each flower is fully double, the base of each petal is tinted bluish-violet being more pronounced in the centre. These can often last for two to three weeks if the weather conditions are cool. Overall flowering period is around eight weeks long. Please note that the flower may be single until the plant is established and they will often revert from double to single and back!, still with that lovely blue eye. A good rich soil keeps the flower double.

These are supplied as several rhizomes in a 9cm pot.
