Product Details
The foliage emerges in early spring being folded upwards around the flower. This gradually falls down to lay horizontal revealing the strong leaf marbling which lasts for most of the lifetime of that leaf. Flowers are fully sessile (stalkless) and usually bronzey-red in colour, although forms do exist which have deep red at the base of the flower. Lasts for many weeks in full flower. This is a fabulously marked leaf species which holds onto the marbling for many weeks into the season.Mississippi and Louisiana This is a seed raised species and so variation will occur. Young rhizomes are offered which may take a year or so to flower.
