A perennial for shadier conditions and moist soils. Foliage is roughly heart shaped and deep green in colour with a very conspicuous overlay of silver making the plant very visible throughout the growing season. Flowers are small but numerous, star shaped and a pale blue in colour. Flowers tend to open in succession making the flowering period around two months long. All are held on wiry, almost inconspicuous, stems. This new hybrid has a marbling which is stronger than Jack frost but not as much as Looking Glass.
