Product Details
An easily grown species and a hardy member of the genus. Completely herbaceous in nature these small bulbs multiply readily to form dense clumps of growth. Growth starts in spring with the emergence of the thin fleshy bronzy brown, spotted grassy leaves which grow quickly once started. Flowers arrive a little later and the first flush of flowers are the largest of the year. These are borne on thin wiry stems and are held on the upper parts in vast numbers. Each is quite small, star-like and near enough pure white. Black seeds follow which germinate readily to form larger clumps if allowed. This will repeat flower if the older flowers are removed.
