A rarely seen Aquilegia from Spain with the usual compounded foliage to a height of 12cms or so. Leaves are delicate in appearance but tough enough to last until the first frosts of autumn. Flowers are very attractive being formed basically of two parts. The sepals are on the outside and are blue in colour, the petals are crisp white and make a good contrast. The whole hangs at the tip of each stem, occasionally with a second flower.
