An exciting cross between Kalmiopsis and Phyllodoce which takes the best from them. This was considered one of the best of the resultant seedlings and named. Essentially looking like a Phyllodoce - spreading to around 40 cms in 5 or 6 years although it will be only around half this in height. The leaves are deep glossy rich green and rather needle-like, up to 1 cm long. Flowers are held on 15mm pedicels and are a pale pink in colour, around one cm wide and cup shaped.
