Easy to grow hardy herbaceous perennial from Japan with broadly lanceolate leaves which have prominent veining. These rise from the soil in very early spring and look interesting from the very start. each plant grows into a clump of loose rosettes from which grow the flowering stems to 120 cms or so in height. Flowers are creamy-green and held on erect sturdy stems for many weeks.
