A delicate looking species with the robustness of the rest of the genus. Slender stems reach up to a height of 20 cms high or so carrying three slender deeply veined leaves. the flowers on this species are narrow petalled and white, often with a red back to each petal. this red colouration is enhanced with flower age when the whole flower - upper and lower surface, slowly turns a pale red. Leaf margins are wavy giving extra interest.
