A lovely mat forming perennial with decumbent stems extending to around 15 cms in length. Pretty, scalloped, veined, deep green leaves provide a beautiful foil for the cream to white flowers with a reddish-purple lip in summer. A very popular plant when people see it in our trough. This is a species which will tolerate lime quite well.
