A vigorous rosette forming evergreen perennial which produces smallish rosettes to around 2 cms wide or so. Each is pale green but has such a heavy encrusting of lime that they look silver, foliage is rather long and narrow. Flowers are a deep red held on rigid stems to a height of around 35 cms or so. Makes lovely tidy clumps of rosettes in a short time.
