An exceptional herbaceous plant which has attractive flowers and foliage. Flowers are usually the first to emerge in the spring. These are pure white, around 2cms wide and with numerous petals. The foliage rises after the flower and often late in the life of the flower. these are glaucous green, palmate and are borne on pinkish-orange petioles. The edges are slightly scalloped and the leaf tends to be held vertically.
