Ranunculus alpestris Flore Pleno

Basically a fully double selection of the species. Maybe slightly slower to grow but not too much. Multi-petalled clean white flowers which last for a long time individually.

Hard working little plants from southern Europe. Nearly evergreen or herbaceous in hard winters, the new foliage rises in early spring before the flowers. This is deep green and glossy, quite deeply dissected and rising directly from the rootstock making little tufts of growth.
