One of the best of the 'Bog Primulas' in our opinion. The foliage itself is quite distinct. Leaf blades are around 2 cms wide and serrated, length can be up to 18 cms or so - usually more slender than most of the group, colour is rich glossy green. Flowers are borne in very dense clusters on stocky stems to 45 cms or so in height. 30 or more flowers per head is not uncommon. Colour is pale lemon yellow, lighter coloured than P. sikkimensis.
