A larger species of Primula with probably the largest number of flowers per head. The leaves on this species are quite large, easily reaching over 30 cms in length. They are matt green with a conspicuous mid rib and leaf petiole being reddish. Flowers are borne in a single head and 40 or usually many more are held over a long period.
Colour is variable but generally orange, occasionally rich reds are produced but some yellow!
