An attractive, low growing and mound forming little Primula. Soft green foliage is quite rounded with a strong wavy edge and held in tight rosettes from which rise the flower stems. These usually have several flowers per stem, these being wide open and flat faced and a strong pink colour. May need protection if you live in a particularly wet area.

Primula allionii Barkers x Primula hirsuta.
