The usual foliage of Paris is evident on this species also, except that it is narrower and with obvious veining. Each leaf is held on short 20 cm stems and the leaflets have relatively no petiole. Flowers are very much thread-like, deep green and the anthers are yellow to add interest. Black berries follow.
