Bright green foliage is evergreen in all but the hardest of winters. Each leaf is around 10 cms long with prominent veining. Flowers are small but numerous and star shaped, borne in early spring just above the new foliage. Colour is a bright vibrant blue with a white cross across the centre of the flower. Makes solid clumps with a few trailing stems around the perimeter.
