A smaller species of daffodil which is suitable for the rock garden or even in troughs and containers. Two or three deep green glossy almost cylindrical leaves rise to around 20 cms high in late winter and early spring. The flowers are quite wide open with the perianth segments completely flattened, the corolla quite open also, and often lasting a little longer in cool conditions.
