A species from northern USA with deep green foliage on rigid stems. The foliage is quite glossy and broadly lanceolate adding to the attractiveness of the plant. The flowers on this species are a luminous yellow as a turkscap and spotted towards the centre, hanging from the stem apices in numbers up to around 12 on larger stems.
A fabulous species which is not often offered.
