A succulent leaved perennial with deep green lanceolate succulent leaves. Despite their delicate appearance they do persist throughout the winter months completely undamaged. The flowers are held on short stems with numerous flowers per stem, colour is a pink or reddish colour. If the old flowers are removed then the plant will throw up sporadic flowers until autumn. This is a cultivar which does not require planting on its side as with some other types, it can handle wetter conditions through the year - but not waterlogged!
