Foliage is compound and composed of a central stem with numerous small leaflets along its length. The whole leaf is a deep purple/black when grown in full sun. Colour turns more green when grown in part shade. The plant is good for weed supression as the foliage makes dense mats of growth, it is however, not as vigorous as Leptinella Platts Black. Flowers are a pale creamy colour and borne on short stalks above the foliage. Each flowerhead is made up of many smaller flowers, making a button-like head. New Zealand.
