A rarely offered dwarf species from Himachal Pradesh where it grows on hot dry slopes, however it will grow quite happily and sometimes even better in the normal garden situation. Evergreen foliage is dissected and matte green held on rigid arching stems to around 30 cms high or so. The flowers are bright yellow, around 1 cm wide and borne in ones or twos in the upper leaf axils, scented.
