Not 100% sure if this is actually a pumila hybrid!

A robust perennial with rich green spear shaped leaves held very much erect. Each leaf arises from a swollen horizontal rhizome in mid spring. This cultivar reaches a height of around 20 cms high. Flowers are held on short stems, each bearing one or two flowers and lasting for several weeks each.  Colour is quite unique for the species - a golden brown with purple honey marks.
