A small neat and tidy Iris with graceful arching lance shaped foliage. Leaf colour is deep green and these rise from ground-level rhizomes in early spring to around 25cms high. Flowers are held on wiry but rigid stems in early June, each is around 6cms wide. Colour is rich purple with white or golden yellow crests to the petals but sometimes creamy or white!
