An easy to grow evergreen mat forming perennial from S Europe. Foliage is deepest-green and rather lanceolate like a large leaved conifer, clothing the decumbent stems which make dense mats of growth which are weed suppressing in large plants. The flowers are white, scented and numerous, held on heads to around 4 cms or so in height through late spring and early summer.
