Easy to grow in a moist but well drained soil with a little shade, particularly in summer as the sun will scorch the leaves. The foliage is the typical three lobed affair and held on wiry petioles all originating from a central point. The flowers are the obvious attraction and these plants have a secure following in the plant world with more and more new hybrids coming along every day. This particular hybrid is single, the outer petals being the largest, of a purplish/blue colour and the centre of each flower has a cluster of green petalloid stamens giving a double appearance.
