An unusual plant in leaf and flower. Leaves are rich green and almost evergreen in that they die down for winter very late. Each leaf is made up of a number of smaller leaves and the leaf canopy is quite dense at a height of around 15 cms on larger plants. Flowers are held in bracts which are held just above the foliage, colour is rich yellow and the whole assembly lasts for many weeks. Easy to grow in a moist soil.
Often called Sanicula but most people know it as Hacquetia
