The Willow Gentian is an easy member of the genus to grow in a lightly shaded spot. It prefers a neutral to acid soil to do best and preferably on the damp side where it won't get too dry. It's called the Willow Gentian because it grows to around 60 cms high with the flowers being produced in the terninal leaf axils. Numerous stems to a plant when it's established.
