An exceptional species and very easy to grow in the garden. Stems rise from flattened bulbs in early spring and carry numerous lance-shaped glossy deep-green leaves with prominent veins. This species likes to run in the soil but is not invasive. Flowers are obviously the main attraction here. These are borne in multiples at the stem tips with as many as 20 flowers opening in rapid succesion until all are open. Flower colour is pale yellow making it significantly different from the species. An unusual and sought after variation.
