A herbaceous bulbous perennial which rises in early spring, the leaves first, followed quickly by the flowers. The leaves are large and strap shaped, pale glossy green and marbled with brown on the upper surface. Flower are a clean white and held on rigid stems with up to four per stem, anther colour is also white on this form. Each stem is up to 30 cms high although very occasionally it can reach a little higher. One of the best marbled leaf forms.
