A lovely named species from Hubei - China which has larger a stature than many. Relatively large elongated leaves held on typical wiry stems are present most of the year and only drop fully if the weather is extremely cold. New growth starts in the spring with the flowers rising first to a height of around 40 cms or so, followed later by the fresh new growth.
