Leaves are pale green with serrated or spined edged. Flowers are borne in long racemes, are a clear yellow in colour, hang pendulously from upright stems and have broad petals. So called because of the network of fine veins seen on the leaf. Leaves turn a burnished bronze in autumn through winter.
