An herbaceous alpine plant from North America (Utah!) with attractive foliage and flowers. Foliage rises in late winter or early spring and is bright green, around 8cms long and 3 cms wide with slightly toothed edges. Flowers are borne a little later and are held on short 10 cm stems, up to around 5 on each stem. Colour is rich reddish/pink with the stamens being prominently dark purple giving a good contrast.
