An attractive low growing tuberous plant from Turkey and the Caucasus etc with rounded deep green leaves occasionally with a silver overlay adding to the interest. These usually rise in early autumn and remain through the winter months. Flowers are a generally white with broad petals reflexing upwards, these are borne in late winter to early spring. One flower per stem but multiple stems per plant. easy and reliable in a lightly shaded spot in the garden. Please note that a light pink shading may be present in the flower.
