A rarely offered plant from Taiwan where it grows in semi-wooded areas there to a height of around 30 cms. Glossy green serrated foliage rises from thick fleshy roots on thin but sturdy stems which terminate in the flower spikes. Flowers are small but numerous and strongly scented being held on stems which hang pendulously. Easy in a moist soil.
Previously offered here under the name of Oldhamii which is what we obtained it as.
