A rare hardy dwarf form of herbaceous perennial which is grown for the clean white flowers which emerge in early spring before the leaves. Each stem carries only a few flowers but there may be numerous stems, especially on larger established plants. Foliage arrives a little later and is soft green when young and unfolding to a deep green with slightly serrated edges, they have two upward pointing lobes to each leaf adding to the interest. Please note that this plant will grow in light woodland situations as well as full sun, provided it is not too dry.
