A rare hardy dwarf form of herbaceous perennial which is grown for the clean yellow flowers which emerge in early spring before the leaves. Each stem carries numerous flowers and there may be numerous stems, especially on larger established plants. Foliage arrives a little later and is soft green when young and unfolding to a deep green with slightly serrated edges. Please note that this plant will grow in woodland situations as well as full sun, provided it is not too dry.
