A worthy addition to any garden here with attractive foliage and flowers. Completely herbaceous this plant begins growth early in spring with the emergence of the leaves first. These are lanceolate, bronzy-green when young but mature green, they are a little fleshy - rather like a very small Kniphofia in form. Flowers are held on a central spike, one spike per rosette, bright lemon-yellow and quite numerous.
