An exceptional dwarf Astilbe for the damper areas of the garden. Foliage is an attraction for this plant, each leaf is very much compressed and ruffled, being quite rigid and deep green. The flowers are borne on pyramidal spikes above the foliage and are pale pink, lasting for several weeks. An ideal species for the damper areas of the rock garden where its proportions will be in scale.
