A very popular species and quite rightly so. Interest starts in early spring with the emergence of the foliage, this is quite furry until it expands making the characheristic fork shaped leaf with two distinct lobes. Flowers are pale blue or occasionally white with a central boss of yellow stamens giving a good contrast, each is around 2cms wide and buttercup-like although not as invasive! Easy to grow.
