A rarely offered but reliable little bulbous perennial which produces narrow strap shaped pale green leaves in early spring. These remain on the plant throughout the summer months when the flower stems are borne up to a height of around 25 cms or so. Each flower head carries around 15 flowers or more. These have narrow petals and are held as a pendulous head with loose bells hanging from it. This Allium will tolerate most situations and even though we recommend full sun, it will in fact, tolerate part shade and drier soils. Suitable for troughs and the open border etc
