An unusual but lovely British native plant from lightly wooded areas etc. Growing from slender rhizomes and slowly spreading in the soil, the leaves are small and green with the whole plant not getting higher than maybe 20cms when in full flower. The flowers are greenish cream which doesn't sound too interesting but it's the form which draw's the attention as it has 4 flowers facing outwards like a town hall clock and one facing upwards which gives it it's common name of 'Town Hall Clock'.

Easy to grow in light shade and any reasonable soil.
