Pulsatilla subslavica
Product Details
A long established genus of perennials for the rock garden. Leaves rise just after the flowers in spring on this species. They are very deeply indented and at first appearance are completely wooly but later expand to reveal their true form - finely serrated. Flowers are bell like but held erect and backed by a ruff of leaves with a furry covering. Flower colour is variable on these seed raised plants as they hybridise readily with P. grandis and P. slavica but generally we have found them to be in shades of bluish-purple.
